Update: The driver was “T-Killah“, a Russian pop/rap star. So this could be a run-of-the-mill case of a cop giving a celebrity a break.
Maybe one of you can shed some light on this video. In Russia, a guy in a lime green Nissan GTR refuses to pull over for a police officer. Sirens, horn, chasing him down the shoulder; the driver doesn’t seem to notice. When the cop finally blocks him, the driver is incredibly nonchalant. He has the face of someone pulled over for a bad taillight, when they’re 100 feet from an auto parts store. He hands the cop something (license I assume), then he gets out of his car, walks over to the cop car and sits down in the front seat.
Outside a road rally, I can’t see anyone in the U.S. being that calm, especially the cop. Here, you’d have a taser dart in your eyeball and there would already be 4 lawsuits pending from motorists you “emotionally injured” due to your reckless speeds. And getting out of your car before being told to? You’d be dead. Plain and simple.
The comments section has a few theories as to how the driver was able to act this way. 1. He’s an undercover cop. With a GTR that says “T-KILLAH”? Hm. 2. He’s a diplomat. Look..into…diplomacy…internship. 3. He bribes the cop. (People think they see money in the cop’s hand). or 4. “Hey man, it’s Russia.” Jump.
